The Pata da Gaivota Boutique House is in the heart of the Silver Coast region. Set in a beautiful vale landscape, Atalaia (part of Lourinhã village) offers a stunning and closer view to the Atlantic Ocean with dozens of award-winning white sand beaches.
Goretti and her daughters Susana and Cláudia have spent years renovating the two villas, each one with its private pergolas, BBQ, and a shared large outdoor 14mx7m (46ftx23ft) swimming pool. The addition of six brand-new bed and breakfast suites in the old family house has been the last part of the project, led by Susana.
The accommodation comprises six thematic king size suites, a dining area, a kitchen, a living room and two villas (Joana Vasconcelos & Vasco da Gama). All set in the converted family house, with access to a breath-taking terrace with views across the green vale and to the mighty blue Atlantic Ocean, and to the leisure house where all guests can enjoy some of the most iconic board games, a foosball table, a set of darts and a few other fun options.
There are plenty of great restaurants, cafes, shops, and a market all within a 5 and 10 minutes car ride range; or for those guests looking for a little more exercise, some are walkable along country paths and roads. This makes for a rewarding halfway point in a walk!
Other attractions like the 14th century Santa Maria do Castelo church, the Visitor Centre Batalha do Vimeiro, and the historic market town are all within 10 minutes’ drive. The famous surf beaches with miles of white sand whether going north or south are just 2 minutes’ drive from the Boutique House.
Goretti started this business 25 years ago, and both Susana and Claudia are now managing the Boutique house, providing an outstanding service to our dear guests.
