Does Vila Pata da Gaivota offer apartments or houses?
Pata da Gaivota features two independent villas that share common spaces, including the garden and pool. Additionally, there are six modern rooms with private bathrooms, all sharing access to the pool area. This setup provides a mix of privacy and communal enjoyment for guests.
Is the pool exclusive to the villa? What are its dimensions, and how is it maintained?
The pool is shared between the two villas and the six additional rooms at Vila Pata da Gaivota. It measures 7 meters in width and 14 meters in length, with a maximum depth of 2 meters. Each unit has its own designated area with sun loungers, umbrellas, tables, and chairs, ensuring comfort and privacy. The pool is regularly maintained, with water continuously treated, pumped, and filtered, ensuring pH control and the highest quality for all guests.
Is the pool heated?
The pool is not heated, but with the pleasant weather, it’s always refreshing. During the winter, if the weather permits, the pool is also available for use.
Are the villas equipped with kitchens?
Yes, each house is fully equipped with a modern kitchen, including all essential appliances, cookware, dishes, and utensils, ensuring you have everything you need to prepare meals with ease and comfort.
Do the villas have BBQ facilities?
Yes, each villa has its own BBQ with all the necessary accessories, though charcoal is not provided. The villas also feature a porch where you can relax and enjoy your meals. We kindly ask that you handle glass cups and bottles with care in the porch area, especially near the pool.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available free of charge with your reservation. We monitor usage to ensure quality service and prevent disruptions, especially in the case of continuous video downloads.
Is the pool exclusive for private use? The property is number 9, as we checked on Google Maps and that property doesn’t have a pool? Can the sofa bed be prepared for arrival?
The pool is shared with the other villas and rooms on the property. The property was the number 7 and 9 as address, and on Google Maps, you can see the large pool available. Only the Vasco da Gama villa features a sofa bed that you can use.
What are the parking options and how far is the beach on foot?
We have a private parking area at the back of our property where you can safely park your car. Porto das Barcas Beach is located at the end of the street, just a 10-minute walk away. By car, it’s only a 2-minute drive to the beach.
Can a 1-year-old child share the bed with the parents, or is there an additional charge for another person?
We are happy to welcome children to our property. Children up to 3 years old stay for free. After that age, there is an additional charge for an extra person.
We are a couple with three young children (1, 5, and 8 years old). When I include the children in the search, the booking is not possible. Why is that?
The available rooms have a maximum capacity for 2 people, with the option to accommodate one child up to 3 years old. For families with more than 2 people, we recommend booking a villa with two bedrooms, where the children can sleep more comfortably.
